- The following terms are defined for better understanding:
- Analyze: “to study or examine something carefully in a methodical way” (“analyze,” n.d.). This means you break down the information into different parts. You figure out how the parts relate to the entire whole. Analyze means you figure out what something might mean. You determine why it is important.
- Perspective: “A particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view” (“perspective,” n.d.). In looking at another’s perspective, you are becoming aware of another’s presence and their own achievements and struggles. You are now valuing another’s experiences by listening and acknowledging their voice and point of view. This helps you understand these challenging topics in multiple layers, comprehending the complexities involved.
