In early August 2019, Beast & Beauty Co., a gymnasium

In early August 2019, Beast & Beauty Co., a gymnasium located in Sunway Road entered into a contract with FitPro Ltd, a fitness equipment supplier. The contract was for the sale of 10 units of R9 Recumbent Bike that has 15 levels of resistance and a smart interface to incorporate workout playlists and uses changes in music to coach through changes in resistance. The equipment was to be delivered on the 19^th of August 2019 which was priced at RM 8,000 each. The contract provided that the price was payable by 12 months installments commencing on delivery and that property in the goods was to pass on completion of the payments.

The equipment were delivered and installed but after it had been working for a fortnight, it was clear that by the reason of its design, the bicycles could not operate to more than 10 levels of resistance and the smart interface function could only play 5 limited songs. Due to the dysfunctional equipment, Beast & Beauty Co. had received negative feedbacks from clients.
