Just as in their artwork, the Surrealists were trying to “transcend logic, borrow the language of dreams, subvert bourgeois notions of artistic taste and standards, and generally … fly in the face of Western logic. And, they just wanted to have some fun This week for our discussion toplo we are going to create a collaborative Random Surrealist Poem. Each person must create one sentence for our poem, using the rules below.
At the end of the week, we will connect all of the sentences to form a Random Surrealist Poem Rules for Creating Your Sentence Take a normal sentence in English, or in another language that you speak fluently, with all the parts of speech noun, verb, adjective, preposition, adverb, etc. and change at the words at random, without any sense or meaning at all.
