Most travelers call 13 months in advance to book a room at Signal Mountain Lodge in Grand Teton National Park. After you process a credit card (payment for the first night), you write to confirm the booking. The confirmation contains the amount charged to the credit card, the date the reservation was made, the confirmation number, the type of room (Lakefront Retreat or Mountainview Retreat), and the date guests will arrive and leave. The deposit amount and amount quoted per night is the rate for the current calendar year. However, guests will be charged rates for the calendar year of stay, which is likely to increase by around 4% to 5%. In addition to paying a new rate for each additional night, guests must pay the difference between the deposit amount and the new rate for the first night.
