Assume that one of Santiago’s suppliers, Parts R Us (“Parts’) is headquartered in Union, New Jersey, and has been shipping Santiago parts for approximately four years in a row. Last year Parts sold approximately $7,000 in hardware to Santiago. In the past 10 years, Parts R Us shipped to businesses in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Parts also e-mailed advertisements to potential leads in each of the 50 states. Wilmington determines that Parts provided the defective parts used in the Wilmington computer order. If Wilmington decides to file suit against Parts in Delaware, would a Delaware court have personal jurisdiction over Parts? Why or why not?
