You will be using above provided video of an interview with a client. Your task is to view the case study and identify the issues presented by the client. The assignment involves the construction of case notes, a professional summary of the video analysis, and a comprehensive reflection on the client’s needs, linking your analysis to the assessment guidelines provided in the rubrics.
Suggested Structure for the Case Study Analysis:
- Introduction (Approx. 100 words): Provide a brief overview of the assignment, including the purpose of the case study analysis and the key elements you will address.
- Professional Summary of the Client Scenario (Approx. 300 words): Summarize the client’s situation, including the key issues they present during the interview. Focus on outlining the client’s concerns and circumstances as observed in the video.
- Critical Analysis and Conclusion (Approx. 700 words): Critically analyze the practice issues identified in the scenario. Discuss your conclusions about the client’s needs and outline your proposed social work response. Ensure your analysis is linked to relevant social work theories that inform your practice approach. Reflect on any personal and professional values, as well as ethical considerations, that may arise in this case.
