Refer to Exercise 1.7 (p. 6) and the World Data Centre for Greenhouse Gases collection of weekly carbon monoxide gas measurements at the Cold Bay, Alaska, weather station. The data for 590 weeks for the years 2000–2002 are saved in the COGAS file. Use a random number generator to select a random sample of 15 weeks from the COGAS file. Identify the weeks in your sample.

The World Data Centre for Greenhouse Gases collects and archives data for greenhouse and related gases in the atmosphere.
