Research “Servant Leadership,” and write a paper on the topic. Servant leadership is a timeless concept. According to Robert K. Greenleaf, (1970) “The servant leader is servant first…it begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first.” The servant-leader shares power puts the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible.

In this paper, discuss the traits and characteristics of servant leadership. Select one or two leaders that exemplify servant leadership and illustrate these examples. Conclude with a summary of how this leadership dimension is important to your career and your own leadership development. Refer to the instructions of this paper within this module as well as the syllabus for specific structure of leadership papers. Your paper should begin with an explanation of the trait with at least three references. Next you should select a group or leader that meets the assigned traits, and then give a historical overview of the group or leader. You will need an additional three (3) references for the individual.
