Jacquemus is a new promising luxury brand of purses, shoes and jewellery, among others. After market research and ideation, the designer creates several new designs. When a new design’s value exceeds a given market potential, a new purse style is created. Purse styles remain on the market for an average of 12 years from their creation. Once a purse style is created, purses following this style are developed at one of Jacquemus three independent workers and are then introduced to the market. Each purse is developed by a single worker and each such worker can only develop a single purse at a time.

The time to create a new style and the time to develop a purse are variable. On average, Jacquemus creates a new style every 5 months (including market research and ideation stages). Also, the average time to develop a purse lasts 12 months (including the time to source materials, time for a prototype and the time to reach bulk production).
