F) Dillard’s close reading of Night of the Living Dead is extremely influential, and it helps highlight some of the specific elements of the film that make it so horrifying. Identify at least three elements of Dillard’s reading, and describe how his observations of these scenes compare to your own. Do you agree with Dillard’s conclusion, that the real horror is “there is nothing we can do that will make any difference at all?”
